The final countdown is on!
Hobart Run The Bridge is literally just around the corner, on Sunday the 28th of February. With ideal running conditions expected, we hope you are as excited as we are!
Here is everything you need to know about this years event.
We have an exciting change this year regarding bib collection! For the first time, Hobart Run The Bridge is partnering with the 2021 Wellness Expo, held at Princes Wharf 1 in Salamanca! All race bibs will be collected from the Run The Bridge stall at the expo, on;
Come along to collect your bib and check out all the health and wellness products and services Hobart has to offer!
BUS SCHEDULE & BRIDGE CLOSURE:
Following advice from Tasmania Police, the Tasman Bridge will be closed from 6:30-9AM and for that reason, our bus timetable underwent a few changes.
10km buses depart Salamanca to Blundstone Arena at:
5:40am | 5:50am | 6:00am | 6:10am | 6:20am | 6:30am
5km buses* depart Salamanca to the Tasman Bridge at:
6:40am | 6:50am | 7:00am | 7:05am | 7:10am | 7:15am
Bus stickers will be collected from the Wellness Expo, with race bib collection.
*Please note that 5km buses will drop participants on the Western side of the bridge and there is a short walk to the 5km start line. For this reason, we recommend bibs are collected prior to the event.
We have a finalised event timetable! This year sees the introduction of waves, designed with the COVID-19 environment in mind to separate participants and keep everyone safe!
- Elite women: 7:05:49am
- Wave 1 (sub 60min runners): 7:10am
- Wave 2 (over 60min runners): 7:20am
Wondering what wave you will be in? Come to the race with your 10km PB in mind; if you run under 60min you will be wave 1, if you run over 60min you will be wave 2!
