The West Moonah Community House operates with a mission to create a friendly, caring and inclusive environment for the community to connect with each other, learn new things and find help when they need it. They offer a place for individuals to come together in unity to share, learn and grow.
Fundraising efforts this year goes towards paying for a resident counsellor at the West Moonah Community house. This is a free service for anyone in the community.
Funds from this event will also go towards Rotary Tasmania's recent initiative, Rotary Tasmania Community Care, whose aim is to support the health and wellbeing of people in our community. Since COVID, Community Care has had a focus on rural and isolated areas of Tasmania to improve their access to mental health services and to enhance social connection and wellbeing.
